Question #1

Why are the buttons on a calculator and the buttons on a telephone not in the same order? Just think about it. Why?

Mystery #1

Recently I went to a library, and as the librarian was checking out my books, I noticed that there was a mug full of free bookmarks. I grabbed a random one and went home. Later as I was reading my book, I happened to glance at the bookmark. That little glance turned into a full out examination of that bookmark. The image on the book mark made no sense.
On this book mark, there was a picture of Jesus holding a little girl, and next to him there was another girl and a boy. They are placed above the earth, so basically in space. The boy is what caught my eye. He has pointed ears, is wearing a ridiculous outfit, and has what looks like a space gun. So, in other words…
Jesus is with an alien.
O-kay…what does that have to do with anything? Why is Jesus with an alien? What on earth is going on? Or perhaps I should say, what in space is going on?
And the caption made no sense. On the front of the book mark, above Jesus’ head are the words, “Jesus, my Joy,” and on the back of the book mark are the words, “For the joy of the Lord is your strength.” What???? What does this have to do with anything? WHY IS JESUS WITH AN ALIEN?!?!?!?!?!?!
Ah, the mysteries of life...

A little more about me, plus a random fact

Synne N. Ceza
I am a very busy individual, but that does not mean my posts will be rushed or boring. I am open for discussion on anything, so if any readers have any questions/comments/suggestions, feel free to ask/comment/recommend.

Random Fact #1
 Your tongue is hairy:
No, I’m not saying that you need to shave your tongue daily or make it wear pigtails, but tongues naturally have hair on them. Tongue hairs are teeny-tiny, and are found projecting from pores on your taste buds (which are found on the bumps on your tongue). These hairs come from taste receptor cells and carry information about your food’s chemical composition to these cells, which then send information to your brain. Basically, tongue hairs are important to your sense of taste.
So, maybe now buying that Archie McPhee tongue-fur scraper won’t be the best idea, but hey, it’s still cool.
Anyways, that’s it for this week/until I get on again.
DSIDGS (Disclaimer So I Don’t Get Sued) – I found this information in a psychology book by David G. Meyers, entitled Psychology in Everyday Life. There. Mission accomplished.
